Apercu was started by educators and therapists who watched too many bright children fall through the cracks of crowded classrooms. We wanted a school where curiosity is protected, where struggle is met with patience, and where progress is measured by the child — not the curriculum.
Today we serve Grade RR through Grade 7, with small classes, an individualised plan for every learner, and a boarding option for families across South Africa.
Our promise is simple: every child can thrive, and we’ll do the work to prove it.
To deliver an individualised, inclusive education that helps every child reach their full potential.
A future where no child is left behind — where learning is shaped to fit the learner, not the other way around.
Quality education. Personalised care. Inspiring potential. Better futures for every family we serve.
We start by getting to know your child. Their strengths, their struggles, the way they learn best. From there, we build a plan that's theirs alone — and we revisit it every term to keep it honest.
Our teachers don't work alone. Occupational therapists, speech-language therapists, and learning support specialists are part of the daily fabric of school — not a referral down the road.
Every child belongs. We build classes around belonging — small enough to know each learner, structured enough to feel safe, warm enough to take a risk.
Educators and therapists who chose Apercu because they believe every child deserves to be seen.
